Design or Price?

Beyond having to know every technical little thing about any and every type of art, paper, ink and paint, we need to know the customer.

Why would you choose a frame designer and stick with them over going all over town looking for the best deal?

Beyond having to know every technical little thing about any and every type of art, paper, ink and paint, we need to know the customer. Our “small talk” gets us comfortable with you, lets us in to your world a bit. Are you calm and relaxed, uptight, dramatic? A warm family person, a single and ready to mingle? Characteristics of a client lead us in different design directions. We aren't analyzing you, just getting a feel for you, “vibing you out”, so to speak. A knowledge of the client married with the art you bring in, guides us.

Like a hair stylist, we remember you, what you did last time, the color you re did your bedroom in, the fabric of your new couch. So as you grow your art collection, we can make sure your new frame will perfectly enhance the art in your space. We learn your aesthetic. We are actually happy to see our clients when they return. Yes, yes, we're happy for the money, but seriously, we’re happy for the relationships we build. You will be comfortable with us too. You will learn to trust our knowledge and experience to a point where you couldn't think about going any where else. A name brand store may have a high turn around of employees, maybe not enough time to fully train them, you might not see the same person every time you go.

Each designer has their own artistic aesthetic and once you find a designer you “jive” with, hold on to them. They are worth their weight in gold. I have no doubt you can shop around and find cheaper prices but you might pay in a less knowledgeable designer or less professional manufacturing team.

Now, we know ART. We know how to hold paper, we know how to move paper and we know how to roll canvas. We know the technical reasons why your paper wont lay flat, why you never put glass over an acrylic or oil painting and why you always use conservation grade materials in all framing. Our extensive training benefits you and your art. We will care for your art as if it was our own and as if it was invaluable.

The gist of all this, invest your time in us, we will invest our time in you and your artwork will reap the benefits.
